个人简介: 

1985年出生于广东省江门新会。2003年考入南京大学天文系,并于2007年获得理学学士学位。同年保送硕士研究生,并于2010年获得理学硕士学位。2010-2015年就读于华盛顿州立大学物理与天文系,获得理学博士学位。2015-2017为智利BASAL项目博士后,就职于康塞普西翁大学天文系。加入光谱巡天项目APOGEE,Gaia-ESO。2017年10月加盟中山大学物理与天文学院。

研究领域: 

研究领域:

1. 恒星化学演化。用观测得到的高分辨率光谱(R~20000)结合恒星大气模型,以求得化学元素丰度,并讨论其演化过程。研究对象之一:球状星团的多重星族。

2. 星族合成。以单一星族的基础概念,通过结合已知各类恒星的光谱、星等来模拟观测到的星系积分光谱、星等,并估算星系的性质,如年龄和金属丰度。

3. 星系的形成与演化。以星族合成为手段,从观测得到的星系积分光谱中求得星系的各种性质参数,以讨论其演化过程。研究对象之一:早型星系初始质量函数随红移的变化。

4. 类星体的黑洞质量。通过测量宽发射线的谱线性质来估算类星体中心黑洞的质量。

1. Stellar chemical evolution. Combining high-resolution spectra (R~200000) and stellar atmosphere models, we obtain chemical abundances, and discuss stellar evolution. For example, multiple populations in globular clusters.

2. Stellar population synthesis. Using the concept of single stellar population, we combine the spectra or flux of a set of known stars to model the integrated-light spectra or flux of a given galaxy. By doing that, we estimate the properties of galaxies, e.g., age and metallicity.

3. Galaxy formation and evolution. By using the technique of stellar population synthesis, we obtain various properties of galaxies, and discuss their evolution. For example, evolution of initial mass function (IMF) in early-type galaxies as a function of redshift.

4. QSO black hole mass. Estimating QSO central black hole mass by measuring the spectral properties of broad emission lines.
