(Abstract):

Tidal disruption event (TDE) occurs when a star passing by a super-massive black hole, and is tidally disrupted, and generates luminous flare of high-energy radiation. The surrounding dust heated by TDE can generate IR radiation, which can be called “dust echo”. Using this dust echo, on the one hand we can study the properties of the nuclear dust in the galaxy, on the other hand we can find the TDEs that are obscured by the dust in the line of sight. In this talk, I will introduce a series of recent works on the dust echoes of TDEs, including studying the difference between the nuclear dust in active galaxies and inactive galaxies, studying the geometry of the nuclear dust using the dust echoes of high-energy transients, and studying the nature of obscured transients using the infrared light curves.
