摘要 (Abstract): 

The motion of photons around black holes determines the shape of shadow and match the ringdown properties of a perturbed black hole. Observations of shadows and ringdown waveforms will reveal the nature of black holes. In this talk, I will use the motion of photons to construct both the shadow and graviational waves from general black holes. I will demonstrate shadows for KRZ black holes and estimate the deviation parameters for the delta-Kerr black hole. Furthermore, we use the photon sphere to get the quasi-normal modes of spinning black hole. Then we connect the ringdown wave with the inspiral part to get full waveforms and compare with the ones from numerical relativity(NR). We find that they match with each other very well. In principle this method can be extended to arbitrary black holes. As an example, the ringdown waveforms from parametrized axisymmetric black hole are obtained. We also use this method to get ringdown signals of the accelerating final black hole due to gravitational recoil during the merger. Even for the extreme cases, the acceleration due to the recoil can not produce detectable effects.

韩文标,现为中国科学院上海天文台研究员,中国科学院大学岗位教授,国科大杭高院双聘教授,博士生导师。上海天文台引力波与相对论基本天文学课题组组长。长期从事极端质量比系统的轨道动力学和引力波模拟,提出的EOB-Teukolsky数值框架在极端质量比中得到较广泛的应用。目前已发表SCI论文40余篇,专著两部。2014年入选中科院青年创新促进会,并担任上海分会副会长、数理分会副秘书长等职。2020年入选中科院基础研究青年稳定支持团队。目前任KAGRA引力波探测合作组论文作者列表委员会委员副主席。科技部引力波重点专项课题负责人。
