摘要 (Abstract):
MEMS are undoubtedly an enabling key technology for the 21st century, as they can contribute to solutions for practically all grand societal challenges humanity is facing, such as sustainable growth, environmental monitoring, health care, and renewable energy. This fascinating and multidisciplinary research field will certainly strongly grow over the next years and already represents an important economic factor.
The presentation aims to introduce some of the representative resonant MEMS sensors that have been developed over the past 3 years, including novel structural designs, mechanisms, and methods of performance optimization.
主讲人简介 (Speaker's CV):
Dr. Wang received the B.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., in 2011; the M.Sc. degree in Bioelectronics from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) from the University of Liege, Belgium, in 2019. He joined Huazhong University of Science and Technology, PGMF, in 2020, and since July 2023, he serving as an assistant professor at IME, University of Macau. He has published over 35 top journals/conference papers in the field of MEMS technologies. His research interest includes resonant MEMS sensors, microresonators, nonlinear dynamics of resonators, and practical applications of MEMS sensors.
