摘要 (Abstract):
The conventional derivation of neutrino oscillation takes neutrino mass eigenstate as a plane wave in ultrarelativistic limit. While as a fermion, the dynamics of neutrino should be govervened by Dirac equation. So the left-chiral neutrino would oscillatie to the right-chiral neutrino. In this talk, I will discuss the neutrino chiral oscillation in detail, and illustrate that the oscillation probabilities have the dependence on Majorana phase, which is different to the conventional derivation results. I will also show that there is a new matter effect resonant region related to the helicity of neutrino. These new effects may have profound impacts on cosmology and astrophysics.

李明蔚,上海交通大学李政道研究所2021级直博生。本科毕业于兰州大学萃英学院,研究兴趣为中微子物理及其现象学,例如中微子振荡、中微子三叉戟散射、中微子退相干问题等等。
