摘要 (Abstract):
Exploring the nucleon partonic structure has been remained as one of the main goals in particle and nuclear physics. The conventional methods in this topic are mainly focused on QCD global analysis and lattice QCD calculation. In this talk, we present an alternative technique, quantum computing, in calculating the unpolarized parton distribution function (PDF) and light-cone distribution amplitude (LCDA). We present a systematic quantum algorithm, which integrates both the hadronic state preparation and the evaluation of the real-time light-front correlations, to study the PDF and LCDA. As a proof-of-concept, we realize the first direct simulation of the PDF and LCDA in the 1+1 dimensional Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Our work suggests the encouraging prospects of calculating the nucleon partonic structure on current and near-term quantum devices.
主讲人简介 (Speaker's CV):
邢宏喜,华南师范大学研究员,博士生导师。2006年本科毕业于华中师范大学,先后在美国伯克利国家实验室、洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室、阿贡国家实验室/西北大学从事高能核物理的理论研究。近几年的研究兴趣主要集中在EIC相关的物理,包括质子自旋结构、冷核介质性质、以及量子计算在核子结构研究中的应用等。共发表文章50余篇,其中包括Phys. Rev. Lett. 4篇。
